This collection preserves the first 100 entries in Bangumi's all-animation ranking as captured on October 15, 2026. It is a dated snapshot, not a live chart.
- Rankings and scores
- Original ranks, 10-point scores, and voter counts are retained. Bangumi's ranking is not a simple sort of the displayed score; a lower-ranked entry can have a slightly higher rounded rating.
- What counts as an entry?
- TV series, films, OVAs, and online animation are included. Seasons, alternate editions, and sequels remain separate entries, and the source also includes animation made outside Japan. These are 100 entries, not 100 distinct franchises.
- English introductions
- Titles use common English or romanized names. Descriptions are independently rewritten in English from the linked title information. Dates, episode counts, credits, and genres come from Bangumi. An original title is retained on each detail page to help identify the exact edition.
- Ten 10-second anime clips
- Each local MP4 is a 10-second excerpt from a publicly available trailer on Apple TV. The clips show actual animation with original trailer audio. Each featured title links to its trailer page and identifies the excerpt time range. The selection includes Ghost in the Shell 2.0, which is a separate entry from the 1995 original. Video rights belong to the respective owners.
- Local browsing
- Descriptions, cover images, and all ten clips work offline, including when index.html is opened directly. Use the player controls for sound, replay, seeking, and fullscreen. Playback starts muted. External source links require an internet connection.
- Your watchlist
- Saved titles stay in this browser. No account is needed. Clearing browser storage removes the list; different website addresses have separate storage.
